We can offer Medical Acupuncture for Musculoskeletal Conditions (a combination of Western and Ancient Chinese Medicine Acupuncture points). Jen has completed her British Medical Acupuncture course in London and holds personal and premises licences from Cornwall Council. The British Medical Acupuncture Society provides high quality courses and training as well as publishing and promoting robust clinical trials and case studies pertaining to the use of medical acupuncture. *Important notice* As of Spring 2024, we are currently unable to use acupuncture over 'the thorax'. This is because our governing body and insurance company will not insure us for needles used in this region, as it is deemed of increased risk. We can have a conversation with you regarding needle placement prior to booking your appointment, as you may wish to see a therapist who is still able to treat in this region.
High quality, single use, disposable needles are used and then disposed of in a clinical waste sharps bin. We are fully compliant with Hepatitis B and other blood-born virus procedures.
